Do you have age-specific or kids dance classes?

Our regular dance classes at FlowMotion Dance Studio are open to ages 16 and up. Select classes are open to ages 12 and up, and we offer youth classes for ages 12 to 16. We are located at 2335 Westwood Blvd in West LA.

What is the cancellation policy for dance classes?

Accepted Answer

Classes at FlowMotion Dance Studio are eligible for a refund if cancelled at least 5 hours in advance. Cancellations within 5 hours of class start time are non-refundable. Unless otherwise stated, fees for registration, packages, services, and merchandise are non-refundable.

FlowMotion Dance Studio at 2335 Westwood Blvd in West LA does not have a private parking lot. There is plenty of metered street parking available nearby. Street parking is free after 6pm or 7pm depending on the block. Parking is generally easy to find and our students rarely have trouble.

No experience needed! FlowMotion Dance Studio in West LA welcomes complete beginners through advanced dancers. Most classes are open level and our instructors tailor their teaching to all skill levels. We also offer a beginner-specific Foundation Series and Intro to Dance program for those who have never danced before. Our studio at 2335 Westwood Blvd serves dancers of all levels from Westwood, Sawtelle, Brentwood, Palms, Mar Vista, Culver City, and beyond.

Are dance classes filmed at FlowMotion Dance Studio?

Yes! Students are welcome to film themselves during class. FlowMotion Dance Studio also films most classes and posts the footage in a Google Drive folder for students to download free of charge. This is a complimentary service and filming quality is not guaranteed. Some classes may be professionally filmed by the instructor.

Class Info

Beg/Int Hip Hop

This class will cover beginner level hip hop choreography! Perfect for those who are newer to dance. Also a great training opportunity for more experienced dancers as well.

Dance Fitness

Dance Fitness is a great way to get in a cardio session while at the same time drilling fundamental dance moves. This class is for all levels and is a perfect way to get in a fun workout!

Int/Adv Jazz Funk

This class will teach Jazz Funk choreography targeted for more experienced dancers. Great opportunity to train in Jazz Funk as well as push yourself if you're a beginner.

Beg/Int Contemporary

This class will teach beginner friendly contemporary choreography. If you've never taken contemporary before this would be a great first class!

Int/Adv Hip Hop

This class will cover hip hip choreography targeted for more experienced dancers. Classes will move at a faster pace than the beginner class. Great class for beginners looking to push themselves or experienced dancers looking to train!

Jazz Technique

This all levels class goes over fundamental techniques and movement found in Jazz. This class does not contain choreography.

Beg/Int Heels

This class will teach heels choreography at a beginner/intermediate level. Heels are not required for this class!

Kpop

Come learn the choreography from your favorite Kpop music videos! This is a beginner friendly class.

Int/Adv Choreography

This class will teach open style choreography. This is targeted towards more experienced dancers but is definitely a great chance to push yourself if you're a beginner!

Grooves and Foundations

This all levels class is for everyone who wants to work on the basics of Hip Hop. This class will primarily go over drilling techniques and movement with the last 10 minutes reserved for choreography.

Beg/Int Jazz Funk

This class will cover beginner level Jazz Funk choreography. This is a great chance to put the movements from the technique class into practice.

Heels Technique

This class will teach you foundational technique and fundamental heels movement. The majority of the class will be technique focused with the last 15 minutes reserved for simple choreography.

House Foundations

This class will teach you the fundamental movements and technique in House. The majority of the class will be movement and technique focused with the end of class reserved for simple choreography.

Theater Jazz

Come live out your Broadway dreams in our Theater Jazz class! This beginner friendly class will teach musical style Jazz choreography.
